Caring for over 100 rescued animals requires ongoing support. Your donation helps provide food, shelter, medical care, and enrichment for every animal at the sanctuary.
Here is an overview of typical monthly expenses:
Monthly Feed: $7,000
Hay, special grain for senior horses, special grain for senior sheep/goats, pig feed, llama/alpaca feed, chicken feed, rabbit feed, bird feed, supplements
Monthly Supplies: $1,000
Include but not limited to: Toys, feeders, and medical products, etc.
Monthly Medical: $500 - $3000+
Include but not limited to: routine exams, vaccinations, sickness treatments, bloodwork, emergency surgeries, castrations, spays, neuter, regular treatments, farrier visits, and shearer visits
Donations don’t have to be monetary to make an impact. Please contact us to find out what items are currently needed.
Toys: A toy can help lift a farm angel's spirit and make them feel loved! Things such as your kid's old playhouse or playpen can be used to entertain the farm angels.
Bedding: The farm angels need a soft place to lay, so blankets, sheets, pillowcases, towels or other fabric items provide a warm, comfortable, and safe place for them. Please consider donating your old but still useable fabric items!
Food: The sanctuary needs a lot of food to feed all of our hungry angels! Common food/feed requests include, but not limited to: hay, pelleted poultry feed, pelleted pig feed, cucumbers, lettuce, and carrots.
Cleaning Supplies: A lot of supplies are needed to keep the sanctuary clean. Items like trash bags, trash bins, shovels, brooms, rakes, or even dollies are helpful!
Pallets/Wood Building Supplies: Creative and innovative ideas are always happening and welcomed here at Farm Angels Sanctuary. With that said, pallets or useable scrap building supplies can be utilized and repurposed here to build toys, shelters, or even feeders.
Medical Supplies: Accidents happen and so farm angels need healing. Items like Bandages, Iodine, Epsom Salt, Neosporin, or any other medical supplies you may have can certainly help.
